Rules & Guidelines for Ignite Phoenix @ ASU

Using the Ignite Portland Constitution and Ignite Phoenix Rules and Guidelines as a starting board, here are the rules and guidelines that Ignite Phoenix @ ASU will follow.

Stick to the Theme and Avoid Bias/Pitches/Spam

We want Ignite to be about promoting and sharing burning ideas related to creating positive social change. If those ideas happen to take the form of the company you work for, the startup you’re trying to get funded, or any other self-serving commercial interest, then so be it. But make sure you keep the marketing to a minimum and stick to the theme.

Presentation Content

Selected presenters shouldn’t do anything that’s going to get you or us in trouble. In short, keep your topic legal and keep the presentation at a PG-13 level. This event is open to the public and presenters must avoid using language and visuals that are graphic, disturbing or suitable only for mature audiences.

The views and opinions expressed by the presenters at the Ignite Phoenix @ ASU are those of the presenters and do not necessarily represent the views or opinions of the Arizona Board of Regents, Arizona State University or their employees or students.
