T-Minus Four Days

Ignite Phoenix #13 is only a few days away and you’ve got your ticket, but what about the rest of the night? I’m sure you’re asking: “What time do I need to be there?”, “Will there be food, drink?”, “Music?”, “An ATM?”

Fear not good citizens. Bookmark this handy post for all your Ignite Phoenix #13 needs.

Event Night Details

Event Time:
You’re going to be in Old Town Scottsdale, and it’s a Friday night. Which means (1) you gotta get there early, and (2) you’ll get to hang out with other Ignite attendees. Win-win, right? The SCPA lobby opens at 5:00pm for drinks and conversation, theatre doors at 6:00 pm, and the show starts at 6:30 pm.

Driving Directions:
Take a look at our Google Map to figure out how to get to the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts (SCPA).

Parking:
There are a variety of parking options available, including on-street spots around the SCPA, garage parking available on Drinkwater Blvd next to Scottsdale Stadium, or the parking corral at 2nd St and Brown Ave. Check out our Google Map for different parking options.

Presenters:
You didn’t forget everyone who will be speaking did you? It’s ok, you’ve got the full lineup here. Oh! And take a moment to follow them on Twitter — engage early and often!

Food and Drink

Again, we’ll be showcasing food from local food trucks, and we’re excited that for Ignite Phoenix #13 we have Paletas Betty, Luncha Libre, and Spice it Up. Our bars will be serving up alcohol from pre-show and to the end of the night.

Happy Hour just got happier!

So, you’re getting to the event early, or were you sitting on the fence? You should change that maybe to a resounding yes. For you early birds we’ve got some magic happening:

Tasty Morsels (5-6pm):

  • Luncha Libre – Steak & Bleu cheese quesadilla (half)  $4
  • Spice It Up – Indian pita chips & Indian salsa  $2
  • Spice It Up – Curry bowls (appetizer)  $4

Thirst Quenchers (5-5:30pm):

  • Beer & Sangria  $4
  • Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka & Loop Vodka cocktails  $4

And we all know you’ve been envious of our Ignite shirts, so from 5-5:30pm Igniters will be given the chance to win a t-shirt of Ignite Phoenix past!

The After Party

I feel like that needs fireworks after it. Or said with a megaphone… Anyway…

This is the best time to chat with the presenters. Did one of the presentations capture your interest? Did it spark something inside you? Some questions bubble to the surface? Well guess what. All of the presenters will be available outside for you to chat with. Congratulate them on a job well done, shake their hand, or buy them a drink, or some food. Do all four.

And don’t forget to pick their brains — the five minutes they had up there was only the tip of the iceberg on the passion they have for their topic, so get to know them. I’m sure they’ll love to share more with you.

We will have an ATM on site. Our bars are cash only. The food trucks will take credit cards, but the process will be much faster if you have cash.

What? You can’t attend?

We’re bummed you can’t make the event, but totally understand. All we ask is that you share your tickets with someone else so they can attend Ignite, if they were unable to purchase tickets. Head on over to our Facebook page and post about it there. Help them get their weekend started off right.

As with other Ignites, our live stream will be available for home viewing on our home page the night of the event.
