You’re attending the Ignite Phoenix After Party.
Not so painful, was it?
But it’s not just the after party. Friday is going to be a whole night of festivities — between the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Arts and Ignite Phoenix #10 you’ll have a full evening.
Coming Early? Sneak Peek at SMoCA
From 5pm to 6pm the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Arts has invited all attendees of Ignite Phoenix #10 to a sneak preview of a future comic book-themed exhibition: Us vs Them, and Masters of Collective Reality. So, go check it out! All of the exhibitions the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Arts have been amazing, this will be as well.
Music, and Food, and Drink, Oh My!
In true Ignite Phoenix fashion we’re planning for a pretty fabulous after party. If you haven’t already heard, our after party is AT the Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts. We’re taking over the grassy knoll just out back and are bringing the food, music, and drink to YOU. You can even make a whole evening out of it by staying at a hotel just on the other side of the lawn.
Super Stereo and Dry River Yacht Club will be our musical entertainment for the evening. Food will be provided by four food trucks*, specifically Sweet Republic, Short Leash Hot Dogs, Jamburritos, and Phoenix Cheesesteak Company, whom will be on hand from before the start of Ignite Phoenix to the end of the night.
*Unfortunately, Beet Streat Truck is unable to attend this evening.
And of course we’ll be serving up alcohol from breweries (Mogollon Brewing Company, Mudshark Brewing Company, Four Peaks, and Prescott Brewing Company) and wineries (Pillsbury Winery, and Arizona Stronghold Winery) from around the state. Please be aware that it will speed up the process considerably if you bring/use cash — our bar is cash only — and we will be conveniently placing ATMs at the event.
Stay Safe, Stay the Night with Hotel Theodore
Like we posted earlier this week, we’re all down for a good evening and a lively party, but we want to keep you safe, so thanks to the Hotel Theodore, reservations for a room are $89 for the night. Remember: they are first come first serve, meaning once that block is filled up, you’re out of luck.

Also, it’s very important to note if you’re unable to make Ignite Phoenix #10 1. we’ll miss seeing you there and 2. please contact the box office at 480-499-8587, they can walk you through the process of canceling your order. By doing so, you can fulfill the wish of a hopeful boy or girl on our waiting list who are waiting for a seat or two to open up.
