Did we say free tickets? We did!

If you didn’t buy a ticket for Ignite Phoenix #8 before they sold out, this may be your last chance to get into the best event in town this Friday night! Here’s how it works: ticket holders who can’t attend donate their unused tickets to us, then we give them to you. It’s simple!

There are a few rules which go along with this, however:

  1. We won’t be giving out tickets until 5:00pm on the night of the event!
  2. We will giving out a maximum of two (2) tickets per person. However, if you only need one ticket, please be kind and don’t take a second ticket. We want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy Ignite Phoenix.

Please keep in mind that the number of free tickets available is entirely dependent upon the donations of people who cannot attend. We may have many tickets to give away, or we may have very few. We will give out the tickets we receive on a first-come, first-served basis. We will not be reserving tickets via Twitter; you have to be physically present to receive a ticket.

If taking the risk of coming down to Ignite Phoenix without having a ticket doesn’t appeal to you, don’t lose hope! At past Ignite Phoenix events, we have seen that many people who cannot attend will offer their tickets via Twitter. Watch the tweet stream for our hashtag #ignitephx to find twitterers who are willing to part with their tickets.

Also, some people wanting tickets have posted ads on Craigslist, and others have posted their tickets for sale. Watch the Craigslist postings for Ignite Phoenix to see if you can find the tickets you want.

Before wrapping up this post, we can’t miss this opportunity to once again mention the Mother of All Food Drives. Our friends at Gangplank are continuing their annual food drive tradition and it’s going quite well this year. At a recent Arizona Interactive Marketing Association (AZIMA) event, they collected 450 cans of food. We think that Ignite Phoenix fans can far exceed that number, so bring whatever nonperishable food you can and let’s really do some good for the less fortunate this holiday season!
